Do you have any crib toys for your child? My girl doesn’t have any actual crib toys like the Fisher Price Aquarium or something that attaches for their amusement. So what does your baby have and do you have any reccomendations on something for her crib? She has some things that she sleeps with but other than that I want to get her something…

Getting my baby to sleep in her crib?

My baby will be 4 weeks old on Thursday (January 25th). She has slept with her daddy and I every night since she came home from the hospital. I do not want to get a habit started. And, I want her to learn from an early age that people don’t always get what they want. I did not do that with my 5 year old son. And, he was very spoiled…now he’s a brat that will not listen to anyone…any helpful hints or tips at how to get a baby to sleep and most of all stay asleep in her own crib…

Where to find baby girl crib bedding – not pink?

I’m looking for crib bedding that’s not pastel pink – I like the vibrant pink & green combo – and purple. Not a fan of pastels.
Didn’t really see anything on Babies R Us or Target that I liked. Anyone have other suggestions for bedding – online or a store – that isn’t pepto-bismol pink?
I mean the bedding – not the crib. The sheets, etc.
Should we fix the used baby crib or cut our losses and buy a new one!?

Our baby is due in about 2 weeks and we are so behind on getting ready for him. We just bought and moved into a new house about 3-4 weeks ago. We finally went to put the crib together and there is a piece that is broken. There is a sort of L bracket thing that has notches that would fit into another piece. We tried some sort of bonding agent (can’t remember the name) that is supposed to work on just about everything, but that didn’t work. Daddy-to-be is suggesting trying two more things… taking off the L-bracket and putting in screws that are the same size as the notches… or taking it to a welder. We paid $100 to a co-worker of his. He won’t ask for the money back cuz we don’t know if it was broken before we got it or after. I am at a point where I think it’s time to cut our losses and just buy a new one. I want to get this baby’s room done and it’s not even started. I did call the manufacturer and they don’t make the crib anymore and didn’t have any spare parts to sell.
So far most of the answers are echoing what I have been thinking and saying all along. He tells me I worry too much, and to just let him fix it, it will all work out, etc. I am tempted to just go to KMart, buy the 3 in 1 crib they have for about $130, have them load it in my truck and when I get home, just say “honey, I have some stuff in my car that I need you to carry in”. Problem solved! 
Thanks to all for verifying that it’s not just my hormones telling me it’s time to just forget it and buy a new one. We are not that bad off where a $100 loss is going to make or break us…
