Actually it is called: “Back to Sleep” it helps Prevent SIDS or sudden infant death syndrome. Babies are only supposed to sleep on Their backs until They can roll over onto Their tummies by Themselves

The answer is back. . . always back. If baby rolls to the side thats OK. My Mom always said her doctor said the stomach but things have changed. They have linked to stomach sleeping S. I. D. S.

Nope, it is on Their Back. . . She May Be Young But I am sure she wants the best for her baby. . .

The accepted position now is on the back. When my 6 year old grandson was a baby, though, we put HIM on His side or stomach anyway Because He HAD pretty bad reflux. But my other three grandkids all slept on Their Backs.

On the back. They use to say on Their stomach but now it has changed to on Their backs to reduce the risk of SIDS.

The doctors have always Told Me “back to sleep” and I do try, but my babies have slept Both much better on Their tummies. Their mothers do know best and if she wants babies baby back on His back I would say it is.

BACK !!!!! It is the back in order to Prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome or SIDS. They used to be the reason on the stomach is so That If They spit up They would not choke on it. But if you put a rolled up receiving blanket to prop HIM Under His back to the side a little bit, the spit up will run out and you do not have to worry about that.

side, then switch to ounces and while, cuz If They stay on Their back, the back of Their head will get flat. but. . . His mom and she is what she RESPECT You Should wants you to do. good luck:)

The modern approach is on the back. Supposedly cuts down on SIDS.

Should you lay down on His back the baby. During the middle if then the baby boy of the night rolls over or gets comfortable in His Own Way, then no need to worry! As long as you put HIM first down on His back. Usually after 2-3 months the risk of SIDS has gone away but the back is always the safest place for the baby!. Also, do not put lots of pillows and blankets next to HIM HIM as this causes May to suffocate if he does roll over or get caught up Somehow in the covers. Good luck. . . What fun, HAVING the baby spend the night, my mom can not wait until I let my son how to spend the night by himself!!

You know what I have put my son to sleep on His stomach Because He did not like the back. But I Told my doctor this and he was fine with it. But my Son Also had a Binky as well. They say when a child has to Binky That Helps With The SIDS. My sister did the Same Thing With Both of here They Did not Have Kids and Binky. If your daughter say he sleeps on His back on His back then but then HIM.

To Comply with SIDS guidelines, it is definatly sleep on the back.
