Thanks for adding information. Personally I Would not want my child to try to climb out of her crib for the fear of falling and hurting herself. If she is Trying to climb down the couch and maybe has not mastered this yet, it’s all in two time. Teach her how by helping her on how to climb. She’ll get it over a period of time. Do not rush or push her as It May cause her to fear it even more. By all means, do not let her fall Either! You’ll be surprised how much babies retain what we teach on Them and use it later on. Then we think, “when did you learn that?”

This is normal. All three of my kids did this. After a couple of weeks, Would They Learn That They Could just plop back down on Their Butts and They Would Be Fine. Just go to her, plop her on her butt and she’ll get the idea and Stop Being afraid to get herself down.
