Why do mothers choose only ONE baby bedding for a nursery and/or crib?

I’ve thought about this for quite some time but I never came up with a good enough answer. Why is it that mothers (parents) when having a baby they only choose one type of bedding for the nursery? I find it odd that you wouldn’t have at least three different sets. I have at least 4 different bed in a bags (all within the same color scheme) for each bedroom. I always find it weird that a baby would have to be stuck with only one bedding set. Is it primarily just a money thing?
Moving baby from crib to toddler bed?

Okay so my third child is almost 7 months old and my older two children were both 10 months old when I moved them to toddler beds. Lately it seems like everyone I talk to that has kids between the ages of 1-2 years old still have their toddlers in a crib. So know I feel like a rushed my other two to beds and didnt leave hem in a rib long enough. My question is at what age did yall move your babies to toddler beds
Newborn baby in cot versus crib?

My wife and I are having our first child. We need a crib and are wondering how you made your decision on what crib you bought for your bundle of joy. We don’t want to break the bank and would be ok getting something used, but also want something that is not a piece of garbage. Can you help us? Thank you!

It spins around, sometimes plays music? Its a toy… decoration… thing.

Are blankets safe or unsafe for use in a crib when the baby is no longer being swaddled?

He is seven weeks old, and he has been swaddled. He is moving around quite a bit now (only on certain nights) and I’m not sure if blankets are safe to use anymore. He doesn’t move every night just a few times this past week…I actually had to remove the crib bumper because he got up underneath it and fell asleep…scared me to death..and now I heard they are very unsafe to use too. I am a first time mommy..if you can’t tell..lol:) If anyone has any ideas or suggestions let me know. If a blanket can’t be used due to safety issues do I just keep the heat up and dress him as warm as possisble??
When should I move baby to his crib?

My son is 7 weeks old. He is currently sleeping in a bassinet next to my bed. His crib is setup in the nursery, which is a small room attached to my room… sort of like an extension of my room separated by a half-wall and curtains. When do you suggest I should move him to sleeping in his crib at night? He sleeps pretty well through the night right now.
